Check out the REO plaque I got in the mail! My favorite part is that its marked 195_. This plaque is screen printed, so is it a repop? Oh well I think its cool.
-Is this the original Engine Shut Down lever? Seems to match the throttle control. Found it under the seat!!
Notice the US NAVY...
YES have read every post in that thread. Decided to go with the BM Alkyd semi gloss
Ive decided to paint it this summer. I feel my paint will turn out better sprayed with an air compressor, and when its warm. Also, I wont be as rushed, go back to school in PA on the 9th. '
Whats the...
I started priming mine with Rustoleum Rusty Primer. $30 a gallon at Home Depot. I an just scraping, wire brushing, acetone wipedown, then sprayed on some phosphate etch (then damp sponge wipedown). I am no paint expert, but the first paint I put down was on the bumper. Put a second coat on a day...

Do you know If the military rolled it or sprayed it? Im purposely not stripping it down to bare metal. Im just scraping it by hand as best I can, wiping it with acetone, using phosphate etch then priming it. I still want it to look old! Im thinking now I should get all the nooks and crannies...

Amazon.com: Wagner 518080 Control Spray Max HVLP Sprayer: Home Improvement

Titan Siphon Feed Spray Gun, Model# 19418 | Paint Spray Guns | Northern Tool + Equipment
got it on sale, but never used it. I have a 60 gal Cambell Hausfield, but its at my old garage. No place to spray...

Any input on these type of cranes. seems simple enough, but Northern has 2 for $179, and one for...
Im pretty sure mine has been sandblasted as some point, paint seems pretty thin. Was very easy to reveal the serial number on the frame.
Ill certainly try to look on the rear bumperetts though. Whats the best method?
I wish you could google the serial/vin and it would tell you everything from...
I am loving all this info. I could tell you year to year changes of a Jeep wagoneer, but I know almost nothing about these trucks HAHA
Well it sounds like a picked quite an interesting truck! Well atleast I know the numbers for the hood now. I guess those were lifelong numbers? Or did it...
3 things I noticed, parking brake (picture 9) is different then all others ive seen. There is some type of flag holder next to the exhaust stack bolted to the passenger door frame. The heater vent is spun around. I have it taken off anyways (along with the intake mushroom) easy enough, but any...
found frame number. Its on the driver side as normal.... I though early deuces had it on the passenger side?
#130156
Number on data plate pictured. Same number stenciled on glovebox. Looks like a replacement plate as there is no other data on it. I bought an original REO M35 data plate on...
GOOD POINT! Id probably want to repaint it before the paint itself broke down. I guess ill just talk to the paint pro about it, and look at the price. I did kinda soak the front part of the bed with the etch stuff. seemed to have dried fine this morning. Probably should not have painted at all...
