I've used a Wagner Heat Gun (the kind for removing paint) in these kind of situations with great success. Just use a little care to keep it moving so as not to overheat any one area.
I wanted to post an apology to everyone for what has been interpreted by many (quite a few who have advised me of such) as a hate campaign against ITS. Please know that my intentions were to simply alert other members to what could potentially be a title nightmare for them. It sure has been one...
I have been waiting six months (and counting) for International Title Service to process my paperwork. I have gotten one excuse after another (the few times I have been able to make contact). While some members report receiving good service in the past, this does not seem to be the case now...
Please read about MY experience with the clowns at International Title before you throw away your money:

OH YEAH - I forgot to say that this guy goes on to tell me that the VT DMV reps do not know what they are talking about - that he deals with some SMALL OFFICE THAT CANNOT MAKE CALLS (IN OR OUT) and that the ONLY CORRESPOND VIA MAIL.
I mean, c'mon, how far can he stretch this story?
I'm gonna...

One thing to remember is that in order to use the so-called Vermont method you must be a legal resident in the state of Vermont, with a property address as opposed to a PO Box, and you must be trying to register and get papers on a vehicle that you own and garage in Vermont at the above...
No. If it had - I probably would have never gone this route. I got the truck from a reputable seller in MD - who I do not harbor any ill towards because he had no idea what a slimeball we were dealing with.
Yeah, I agree that a LOT can change in two years - but a simple fact remains in that what this guy is doing is charging us honest folks a BUTTLOAD of cash for services that we can do ourselves. Looking at the VT website, the process is quite simple and the customer service reps are there to...
Good advice. I have a corporate FedEx account, so maybe a nice package with a DIRECT SIGNATURE option is the way to go.
Mister FedEx has to hand the package to someone and get a signature.
Understood on the OP and/or MOD aspect.
Does anyone know this guys real name? If so - can you PM it...
UPDATE - UPDATED - UPDATE // ITS IS FULL OF BS AND I HAVE THE PROOF
STILL trying to get the idiot over at ITS to answer the phone. They will be sorry when they I get ahold of them.
I also compiled and sent a fax demanding a refund - so we will see if that generates any response...
IN THE...
No - unfortunately - I have nothing new to report.
I have made (literally) hundreds of attempts at various times of the day (and evening) to reach this guy. I always get a BUSY SIGNAL... regardless of toll free or direct. I went so far as to dialing an operator and had her try. Same deal...
STILL NOTHING BUT BUSY SIGNALS AT ITS
I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone
I sure would like to get a refund of my $485
What a WASTE
Has ANYONE ELSE gotten their titles back from this clown in the last FIVE MONTHS?
direct / toll number is:
1-702-456-4027
as i am sitting here fuming, i think i'm gonna start sending them a fax every 20 minutes demanding a refund:
fax = 1-702-456-4040
INTERNATIONAL TITLE SERVICE HAS ACHIEVED A NEW LOW
I still have nothing to show, have tried for HOURS upon end to reach them with no success (CONSTANT BUSY SIGNAL)
I am presently researching what it will take in WV to get a title by having Kevin regenerate my paperwork.
My confidence is...
