If you are interested local hardware stores have Soleus Air® 14,000 BTU 115-Volt Portable Air Conditioner with Heat. so with one unit you have heat and air conditioning plus it pretty cheap. all you have to do is stick the 4 inch exhaust tube out a wall or window. Real easy.
Id take you up on that if i was closer and help you with your project but im not anywhere close. I swear if i bought another truck my wife might ask me for a seperation lol.
Dont shoot the questioner/ messenger but what would happen if you converted a M927A2 from a 6x6 to a 4x4? Im assuming with losing 2500lbs from an axle and wheels, one less driveshaft, less gears to turn would help with gas mileage but also reduce load capacity. Correct or not?
Ummm you know this is why I joined this site, there are things that i do not think of. I did my research and knew that trailer length in Wisconsin could be up to 48 feet and a RV can be up to 45 feet. However, i assumed that they could be up to the combined footage and didnt know there was a...

Second, I did something stupid the other day...
So i just got done skimming literally all 790 something pages of this thread and i was wondering when moose would show back up (pg 724 was when someone mentioned you missing)
Thats essentially what i had in mind. although, extending my trailer about 15 feet might be more than i can chew. Im planning on having the RV on the 5 ton, ISO on trailer for workshop, and extended dove tail for my 2005 dodge cummins. a lot of work for one person.
Sorry think my phone auto corrected for me. I ment to say my MCT (2011 MCT Industries trailer). I also have a XMT 350 cc/cv, a Bobcat 250 propane, Miller suitcase extreme 12vs, hypertherm 65 plasma hopefully for auto cad, and etc. Yes we will be camping but the Mrs's family is mostly in San...
Actually, according to my DMV the registered it at 25,000 lbs so im not really worried about that (the girl there didnt know what she was doing, not sure even if it is 100% legal). I wanted to do a flatbed because im planning on selling my house, building a RV for the bed that could be removed...
Thanks. Even though i was in the Marines and worked on Cummins engines mostley, Im still getting familiar with the truck. Not 100% sure what the differences are on the individual models. However, i know that if i keep on this site then i will be learning plenty of info.
As for my plans with...
New to the thread. Been reading posts on here for about a year now. Bought a 1989 M927A2 at a auction this last January. Not a lot of time to spend on the truck so all ive done is add a keyed ignition.
