jeff - It's funny cause it wasn't intended as such. We loaded the table up to move it back and my buddy just figured he'd sit up there and shoot from there instead of fumbling trying to get the table out of the bed. Shooting from the cab on the other hand doesn't work so well. I have taken...
That's awesome.
I was sitting at home watching it fly around the area on the news and debated whether or not I wanted to run down there to watch it fly in. It was already doing circles around DC so figured I had enough time. I knew that if I didn't, I would probably kick myself for it. Despite...
Well, to clarify. Mine don't need to be towed...they just aren't tagged right now. Not much time right now and too many other things on my plate at this time. Though, having followed a very nice A2 down Snickersville Turnpike from Aldie on Monday morning made me a bit envious...so perhaps in the...
Neither of my Deuces are on the road right now and probably won't be by then, but I'll try and roll out that way. I know a couple others a bit closer to me that might want to bring one of their trucks out there though.
I gotta question for you guys out that way. I was out in Winchester last...
Used one of my Deuces as a mobile dumpster while demo'ing a roof on a run-in shed on the farm. Was also able to back the bed under the shed so we could pop the old plywood off...which was real handy.
And a few other pics of what I've done with it....
I need a reason to have one?
They are just cool, really no other reason than that. Neither of my two Deuces are currently on the road yet, but they get used fairly often around the farm.
At first, I didn't know what I would do with one...but i quickly found that you find things to do with them.
Got the radiator back on my winch A2 yesterday after having it blow a hole above the outlet on the lower tank when driving it home two months ago. Pulled the thermostat and cooked it everything checked out ok. Got it all back together, filled it up and ran it around the back forty on the farm...
CGarbee - Not sure 'bout that one. Would love to, but I've got some things I need to take care of. Wanted to work on my truck, but I'm not sure I will get to it. Hopefully next time though for sure.
islandguy - We got much needed rain, thats for sure. needed rain badly. It didn't even raise...
Nice. Yeah, would like to get together with some others from the area at one point or another. Would be nice to know some other guys with trucks other than who I got mine from...which also happens to be in my county, lol
soon as i get mine in order and fix what needs fixin'...and eventually tags.
i'm down though, i don't know anyone else who has one other than where my truck came from.
Lurked around for quite a while then finally joined and lurked some more. Just spent my time on here reading up on my Deuce and learning a bit. Finally got around to posting.
Picked up a '71 AM General M35A2 back in March. Most of the things on it are small stuff and some wiring to be done and...
