you can most likely rebuild the rams pretty inexpensively. i'm working through the leaks on mine as well. the control box to set RPM and raise/lower the front loader isn't required to use the backhoe. you just have to climb up and down a lot more to adjust your RPMs or raise the bucket. you...
i think the gantry crane will be useful because i am thinking of building or buying a cnc plasma table in the near future so i'll be buying large sheets of metal that get hard to move from truck to storage to plasma table.
this just happened to me tonight. only thing i could think to do was close off the fuel line with the valve by the tank. also tried to cover the intake air at the same time. Eventually it died but it took a while and was running very high RPM's. since i dont know what caused this, i'm...
thanks guys. i think i'm going to build a ramp off the back of the trailer with solid support to the ground every 12" or so and then borrow a pallet jack and use a come-a-long to help control the decent down the ramp.
sorry, referring to my FLU419, I forget there are other vehicles included in this forum. I'd feel most comfortable picking it up and moving it with the Front Loader but I think the max weight for that is 3k lb. my trailer doesn't have ramps that would work well for rolling off, i think picking...
ya 3 wires. i think its 621, 622, and 02 (ground). thought it might be easy for someone to glance at the wire numbers since they are visible inside the cab? i can probably figure it out w/ a multimeter though.
thanks! do you know which number goes on which of the windshield terminals? I'll confess, i labeled some things when i got the truck 1 year ago but i just used masking tape because i was originally going to fix it rihgt away. A year later and the writing on all the masking tape is gone...
thread hi-jack...
i just got done repairing all of the rat damage in my harness. the problem now is i don't know where some of the wires plug in on the instruments. for example, the tachometer has 4 spade connectors on it, i have no idea which spade corresponds with wire 36, which corresponds...
I got the FEL off. 46mm didn't fit so i went to the 1 7/8" which felt a little loose but worked.
I used the trick of putting a chain from the breaker bar to the boom frame and use the hydraulics to pop it loose. I was pretty nervous doing that so once i heard it pop a couple of times i...
decided to get this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E8MB8J8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
i don't own any 3/4 ratchets or breaker bars so it was the best deal for me.
just measured w/ calipers. comes out to be right on 47mm. A 1 7/8" socket would be just 25 thou oversized so it would probably work fine too.
Do you have a 3/4" drive 47mm socket? I can get one on Amazon for $25 with prime shipping...
Fixed 2 things last night. the parking brake handle pulled completely out last winter and the door release button popped out of the door handle around the same time.
both turned out to be simple fixes.
for the parking brake, disconnecting the cable at the lever by the rear axle lets the...
thanks, i bought that set assuming it would cover most jobs on the mog but it doesn't go big enough for 2 jobs I've tried to do now. I've seen multiple posts from people saying how easy it is to remove the FEL so i figured those bolts wouldn't be too bad to remove!
