Great time. successfully emptied my wallet. i did find 50 cents in my pocket the next morning, more than likely change from the $3.50 hamburger i bought out of desperation.
my 818 feels like a sportscar compared to my m35. The power steering alone is worth it. that said if i ever have to part with one i'd keep the m35 and put power steering on it.
i'm pretty sure i remember a yellow deuce in a MB episode with a snow plow attached. something about trying to blow a car off the road with the windblast from the plow.
both. empty you can lift the trailer with one hand and fold down or up the landing leg. full you cant nessessarilly. so unhitching from a loaded trailer with a cranking leg is very bonus.
2600# empty if i recall correctly. thats probably as much as your taco. even a 101 is a strech and it weighs half as much.

yes. general rule of thumb is that the smaller the military trailer the more valuable. a rolling rusted turd M416 can bring $750 or more. i've seen clean ones go for $1500-2000.
that's a gold mine right there. i have a 416 and got it the same way you did. didnt realize till later that its a very rare bird and very sought after.
