Having to replace my Front Hub outer air seal on my 923A2. The outer seal has spun in its seat. I think the Military installed the wrong seal part number 19207-12377572. The Parts Manual shows the two front seals with the same part number A-1205-N2120. I've been told some people use the
seal...
Yes, it worked to easy. I did what you guys said, take steering wheel nut off and spray spline area with BP Blaster for a couple days. I found a used wheel, but the guy can't get it off without damaging the wheel so I'm going to send him this set up for removal.
I have found that it's not easy to find a surplus (correct) steering wheel puller. For some reason flea-bay is listing pullers @ $100.00 or more. So after finding a nice used wheel for $30.00 the owner has no means of removing it without damaging it. After reading our site I took some of you...
1. About 2 seconds.
2.It had valve cores in all the stems. I removed the ones from the long side that the hose screws to and installed a new O-ring in the hose end. The short side of the valve stem that faces inward still has the valve core.
What are you referring to as the ''T'' fitting?
120psi. Then I started her up. Have quick pssst and then trumpet sound after that all 5 lights are flashing. Changed out O-ring to double O-rings on both front hub pipes that protrudes out 3/8'' or so to no avail. Had to stop because darkness set in. Thanks.........
I have check each wheel valve out, have no tire leaks, changed bad axle air seal and still system still does two air checks.First hisses inside cab and then blow off under truck this is done twice. All lights still flash. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
This is what I got done this morning. Torqued first axle nut to 50 ft.lbs. and at the same time turning hub. You can feel the bearing getting tight when turning and torquing to 50#s. I then set the wrench at 3 o'clock and brought it back to 12 o'clock the nut seamed to loose so I went to the...
Two very good questions. With the truck only having 9000 miles on it, I didn't remove the inside seal, bearing or plastic sleave. I could see the bearing had been packed with grease but was soaked with gear oil. I'm assuming that gear oil passes through the tunneled plastic sleeve to the inside...
Here's what I got done this weekend. Made a seal driver out of sch.40 pvc pipe you have to cut down the inside where you give clearance to the inter seal lip. The driver works for both CTIS seals. The center seal you just drive till it's seated against the hub sholder. On the outer CTIS seal you...
I been trying to get my CTIS working on my new toy with the help of many of you guys. I found axle oil dripping on the left rear back wheel. The air valve had popped loose from the nipple that screws into the hub. Took the nipple out, stuck my finger in the hub hole and could feel a seal just...
Got her going, purrs like a kitten. This is a picture of the fuel canister behind the front tire after sand blasting. Sorry I didn't get a picture with all the rust and goop. Thanks for the help.........
Just changed the canister fuel filter on my 923 A2 now can't get fuel out of IP bleeder screw. I've pumped the lift pump at least 500 times, the only thing I got was some air bubbles here and there. Can someone help..........Thanks.....
