Thanks for the information . There is actually a rectangular tag inside the drivers door as well that says rebuild date in 2005 in El paso . I guess its pretty hard to know exactly what was done to these trucks over the years. Other than the change of color from green to tan it looks like most...

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what these round tubes with the mounting brackets on top are for? There is one on the driver's side as well, the truck came from Fort Bliss Texas if that matters. :shrugs:

We actually have the truck home now. We are thinking of in the future if something happens when we are out on a trip.

We are also looking at purchasing a M923, but have heard rumours that they have stopped or are going to stop importing of these vehicles. Is there any truth to that?
