I agree with everyone else, no disrespect to you and your age, but I think a M35 is way to big for you to be driving right off the bat. A cucv is better and more practical. I do applaud you for having an interest in this hobby and wish you the best of luck with what ever decision you shall make...
The H3 is not underpowered for this trailer, I have an H3 and use it to tow my M101's all the time. I even use a GMC envoy which is a lil bit smaller. Both vehicles tow these trailers like nothing is back there. I say leave it alone dont waste your time, you have no worries. I just loaded 1k #s...
The guy in mention that Heavyopp is speaking of is actually a good guy, at least that's what I thought, I had met him before and spoke for more than an hour, I believe he doesnt want to get rid of the generator for the price he quoted him...but like you say you should never go back on your word...

Looks like it came out pretty good. If you dont mind me asking roughly how much did it cost you for that set up?
Also just because you changed out the axle and wheels does not make it bad, you are still preserving a part of history but you have adapted it to your needs.
:grd:
I suggest you make up an adapter like the one that EMMADO22 posted about, I have a setup like that and it has yet to fail me. Cheap and easy and you dont have to hack away at any of the truck or trailer's wiring harness.
Good Luck! :grd:
I buy many trailers from GL, you fill out the info of the trailer in the sf-97 form, if your state requires that trailer to be titled due to certain weight or classifications then they will charge you for a title. If there is no requirement from your state the GL will send you a BILL OF SALE and...
