I may be buying a 1967 M109A3 marked "Diesel fuel only". I understand that I will need to replumb the fuel compensating valve in order to be multifuel.
If it is broken or missing, how hard is it to get one? How expensive?

Can anyone recomend an insurance agent in central New Mexico.
I plan on bidding in a GL auction in March and my insurance agent will not cover an M109. It will not fit in my garage, which rules out some companies.

When built, the M109A2 was powered by the LDS-427 Multifuel engine. When the LD-465 was introduced to the series, the model number changed to M109A3 - and stayed the same with the introduction of the LDT-465...

I am looking for a truck to camperize. Currently we are using a Pinzgauer 712AMB and want something larger.
Can anyone explain the differences between a M109A2 and a M109A3 ?
