My fuel pump has been giving me intermittent trouble. Finaly tore it down and found that the power wire is bad right at the point where it enters the motor. As these motors are sealed my question is has anyone successfully opened, repaired and then resealed one of these?

You are asking two different questions. The rings were not standerd equipment, however the M35s were all designed with the mounting holes to receive them. I put in a keyed battery disconnect switch awhile back and it works fine. Located it in the storage box on the drivers side. Not only protects the vehicle from unauthorized use but protects the batterys from any electrical drains during storage periods. Got it from NAPA for about $35.

Both of these were APCs, we never cought up to the truck. All I could tell was that it had single tires and was big.

Was out in the Idaho desert Sat. looking for a piece of armor and ran into these guys. You never know what you might find when looking for MVs.

Painted the truck 27084 and left the engine 383, looks good to me.

Just a guick note. We didn't get completely done but she was drivable by Sat. so off to town we went. Had a small display and lots of fun, up to a point. Sure felt good to take her for a ride. Just as as we were finishing up I managed to trip over a cable and dislocate my shoulder, :banghead...

Does anyone know of a source for original material for recovering the seats in the M35? I know seat covers are available but I would prefer material so I can restore to original condition. Thanks for any help you can give.
