Just replaced the wiper motor last night, didn't even know my truck had the "non parking" wiper problem until now....time to get the tools out! This site is great! It's helping me fix problems I didn't even know I had :D
I would definitely go with a CUCV if you're looking for a simple, easy to maintain diesel. Not too sure about the possibility of having to drive it across the country if that's where the Air Force sends you next.
I like it! My mirror is on the windshield too high so every time I use my visor it smacks the mirror lol. I bet the Lund visor might even help keep it a degree or two cooler
Drivers license, registration, proof of insurance, and the "paid in full" invoice is all I needed to get onto the local Army post. You should be good with that but like FMJ said, call ahead and make sure.
