I already start a tank replica on a Bombardier J-5 basis, project just started and stopped after I bought a M113A2! LOL...No need for a replica anymore! The J-5 is 5 feet wide and a lot more stable off-roading!

I will probably replace de seal by a "L" shape steel brace and add the same seal as the blazer front door, the hinges would probably be install like on the Jeep hard top, for the tailgate I can keep the original one but it's a lot heavier then the pick-up so I still have to decide?

Hi, Did some body already remove the rear glass to change it by a 2 shocks pull-up window like a pick-up fiberglass cover?
I think it will be a lot more user friendly?
I figuring at removing the glass and to replace the rear top seal by a steel channel, bolt on 2 shocks and a plexi window...
I agree with all the previous comments. For sure it's not a M113A3 deffinitely not! Around 30K$ Impossible, I import 2 M113A2 from Luxamburgh last year. They were on a firing range so I need the glacis of one to weld on the second one! A M113A2 sold for around 80K$ right now on the private...
