the guy i got them from said they are mrap wheels. is that the same as the mlvw? i seen them xmls mounted on another deuce with the stick wheels, i could go that route to avoid the adapters too. i kinda wanted to keep the 900s on wheels though so when i haul dirt and gravel i can have the duallys
i have 6 of the xmls on them rims here, just debating ordering the expensive adapters or just going with used larger ndt tires for the rims i have on it stock and run duals.. either way its gonna be pricey but the shipping is whats holding me back on the adapters.
you could weld the base of the harbor freight 12 tons to some old rims to get extra height and it would have a more stable base for dirt and gravel then too.
how can you tell fiber from the ceramic?
what kit did you und up using? anyone just reuse the pressure plate? is there a more desirable pressure plate 3 or 4 finger?
it looks to me as if my inner fender is sicking out on exhaust side as the exh pipe isnt even in the hole correctly it looks, but though id ask before i go forcing it the way i "think" it should be.
input please. and thank u.
are the xml and xzl same size tires? i was looking at one as a spare but i have 6 xmls and its a xzl
ad says "Michelin XZL tire with 10 lug rim. Size 16.00 R20"
sorry to hear about the bad luck
im sure you will get things worked out.
what compression gauge and fittings do you have? i want to aquire one for myself
also where did you tap into at for the mechanical oil pressure gauge?
what is the pressure the gauge should be reading on the dash? i have heard no buzzer but i have just got this 68 deuce. where is the mechanical air switch that activates thebuzzer located at? is it on the air tanks?
ya maybe a inch of snow.. pretty sad, what you gonna do tho. still white. thanks for the help with making the avatar. the deuce looks allot better in pictures. im going to use it to haul dirt then maybe convert it to a camper later on in life.
