Towing an M101 with my Crown Vic Station Wagon

A transmission cooler would be a must. I had a MB diesel wagon, that carried 400 pounds of tools in the back, and the tranny would have to be pulled every year until I had a cooler put in. Read this http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/transmission/index.shtml it has a lot of good stuff in it...

    FMTV up close

The soft suspension reminds me of the time my company was building a collating machine for the air force extension courses. The air force wanted the machine to not exceed 75dB. We tried to tell them it was a ridiculous number. It was only after we took a sound meter into a meeting and...

    MTVR vs Humvee

http://youtube.com/watch?v=p5ACDk8MIso It's a Mazda test but you can see that after the acceleration of the impact the car decelerates faster than the driver. I would think teh harder he had his brakes on from stopping short the more likely this would happen. He must have been tall.

Putting Straight Vegetable Oil Directing into Tank of M35A2

Veggie oil is very low in sulfur. I can see headlines about airborne transfats though. . . Seriously, some of the motor oil on the cylinder walls is generally burned in the combustion process so it shouldn't be that bad. IIRC a bit of oil is supposed to be added to the fuel tank for...

two different lap tops, two different looks

Are the screen sizes the same? That could make one look squished/stretched. Another difference could be the laptops have different web browsers installed i.g. Internet Explorer 6, IE7, Firefox 1, 1.5 or 2, etc.
