    almost finished working on deuce

Re: RE: almost finished working on deuce This was not meant to say I haul it from home and dump it on the side of the highway. I haul tons of trash from public areas every year to properly dispose of it. I help move some of the larger items off of public land to an area accessible by the...

    almost finished working on deuce

On thing I do when out off-roading. If I dont have the time, space, or money to properly dispose of large litter. IE burnt cars, rolls of carpet, etc, the heavy stuff you cant load. I will chain on to it and tow it to the edge of the highway. It takes a very short time here in Idaho for the...

    12volt headlights vs 24 volts.

Im not an electrical guru, if fact Im kinda bad at wiring... But there seems to be a problem..in a 24 volt system the postive on one batt is hooked the the neg of the other... To use the 12v system like you are describing it would be connecting the 2 positve posts together as well as both...

Yeah...you are probably more right. I should have known that too... So all in all the diameter, is more important than the radius, but circumference is the most important. Sorry I dont know what I was thinking aua

    crossover steering...

You would need one end left hand thread and one end right hand thread, to be able to turn the rod to adjust. Check out the threads on a turnbuckle for reference.

the Warn 16.5ti (16,500lb rating) runs 7/16" cable and is only available in a 12volt version. the warn 15,000lb winch, also runs the 7/16 cable, and is available in 24volt version...

    overdrive gears available soon

Keep in mind the loaded radius X 2 is what the actual number for calculating tire size should be, when figuring speed at a given RPM. goodyear says 21.5in multipy by 2 for a number of 43, I would use a number like 44, to calulate...(due to the lighter load on the tire, also lower pressures will...

    electric winch on deuce

One thing to consider, a superduty ford, crew cab with powerstoke, loaded with hunting gear can easily tip the scales at 10,000lbs. Once my m35 is finished (customized), I most likely will run the electric to save weight.

    electric winch on deuce

To give an idea, I use a 12,000lb electric winch on my Toyota 4runner. The reason is I mostly use single line pulls, faster line speed. But, pulling heavy trucks (like a 1 ton) even double line I have stalled the winch. I would recommend the very minimum of the Warn 16.5ti. It has built in...

Pics or opinions on hauling 2 M105A2 trailers? On 1 trailer.

Thank you guys, that exactly what I was needing. I think loading them backwards is the way to go. I like that one, will fit under the other if you remove the racks. Does it require any tools to remove the racks? If so what? Thanks again

    Snap On Calendar Deuceswild Deuce!

On the note of black tools.... I love em.. Just hate it when I pick them up after they "moved" out in the sun on their own.. We use a fair share of craftsman, mac, and snap-on at work, they all break, all wear out. The feel of superior tools is better. I cant keep a craftsman ratchet from...

Pics or opinions on hauling 2 M105A2 trailers? On 1 trailer.

I have seen pics on here...but I cant find them. I have the dimensions on the M105A2 trailers, and I have seen the first trailer on backwards, then the second trailer backed up tight up too it. Anyone know how compact of package this will make? As is what is the minimum length of trailer...

5 ton woe's from Ft Hill UT to Kennewick, WA

If you have problems near Boise, ID I can help out. The least is I can offer a parking spot. I will be heading down to hill within the next 2 weeks, I know you want it sooner, but if you have it moved and worked on, need someone to check on it, or whatever. Hell if it gets to driveable...
