    I run 37" x 16.50 surplus radials and gain a decent drop in RPMs over stock tires with the GV unit. At 70mph I'm at 2350 rpm. My GV has been flawless for about 25,000 miles . Great setup.

    Can't go wrong with the TinyTach. Be sure to paint the transducer after install. Great unit and super easy install. Really nice looking truck also.

    Keep the top and sides. They really make the trailer multi - purpose. I love mine and have hauled everything in it. I'd leave it as is if I were you. The surge brakes are great.     '41 MB Electrical problems

    Weak battery or corroded battery connections or both. If a 6 volt sits for a while without a charge it won't hold a quick charge. At least that's how my ' 44 GPW is. Check the water level and give it a long charge on a shop charger and check it with a hydrometer .

    Mile Marker 24v 12,000lb multi mount winch install

    You'd most likely have to notch the frame rails. My Warn 12,000 was about a 1/2 " too wide , but the HF Badlands fit with room to spare. Easy install with the universal mounting plate from HF. I borrowed the idea from member Shankemdeep.

    Buy a take off spring pack from Boyce Equipment, Memphis Equipment or TNJ Murray. That's what I did. Ask for a hand picked unit with as little rust as possible. Broken springs are common on these rigs. Of course you could rebuild yours, but there are complete replacements available . I paid 200...

    M1028 Gear vendors install help

    What transfer case do you have? The coupler for a NP 208 vs 205 are different. If I recall, the shaft on my install moved in when I separated the stock housing and I had to pull it back out. That might be your problem. I believe I had to shim 11 thousandths . Ok now I see you have a 208 housing...

    Turn Signal Help

    Check all your grounds at the turn signal assemblies front and rear ,and clean same and all bulb contacts, then apply a little dielectric grease to the sockets . I doubt it is in the switch. I had the exact same problem and this was the fix. Good luck. Oh also disconnect your batteries first.

    454 for power in an '85 m1009

    My advice to you is, SEARCH this site regarding this subject. Not being a wisea*# , but this will help you make a calculated decision . Personally, I'd keep the 6.2 if it is a proven runner. The m1009 with it's gearing makes the 6.2 a highway truck. My 1028 with Gear Vendor is my go anywhere...
