    TURBO 400 wheezing the juice!!

Sounds like it may be the front pump seal leaking. They are tough transmissions, but with a leak like that, I would get it fixed ASAP. I had mine completely gutted and rebuilt for just over $400.

    M1028 for work truck

Well I have the exact same truck and I havent had any probs that I havent caused myself. Yes it is slow and you can push it, but I would recommend just getting a bit taller tires. As far as using it for a work truck, no problems at all. Mine is a daily driver, weekend fun truck and a work truck...

    M1008 Engine Vibration

Does it happen while just idling or when it is also moving? I know on some Chevy 4x4's, the frame is known to crack where the steering box mounts to the frame. I know it wasnt an issue on the 1 tons due to the frame being thicker.

    Wiring Harness

I believe my dealings with Brian (muddobber)was by far the smoothest transaction I have ever been involved in. The alternator I got from him was exactly as described, showed up on the day he said it would and it worked perfectly! <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_headbanger.gif"...

    Just curious - daily drivers?

    Up until I got my M1028 back on the road, I have been driving a sweet 2000 Mustang 5 speed.<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_thumzup.gif" alt="Thumb Up">

    Fuel Filter Base seals

The sensors are a fuel temp sensor and a water in fuel sensor. The fuel temp sensor may be needed if you live up north where it gets very cold.

    Fuel Filter Base seals

Since I didnt need any of the sensors on the box filter base, I replaced it with a regular filter assembly off a dump truck. It has the "IN" and "OUT" fuel nipples and uses a screw on filter. Dont have any of the part #'s handy but Im sure just about any standard assembly from a diesel would work.
