Nope, just used two self tapping screws and pliers.... Pulled evenly.... I did have to score the paint from around the seal so it would come out.

Knock on wood but we shouldn't have a problem.... I have pulled about 6 different pintle hitch trailers and they all seem to do great even on the rough trails around here. I think that side view is a little deceiving with the angle the picture was taken. Hopefully nothing comes up.

The seat height is roughly the same as the springer seat... I am just over 6' 1" and I fit comfortably and don't even come close to the soft top. I can say that I look right at the windshield wiper so I do have to look down a little but I had to do at with the original seat as well. I can still...
No, even with he middle seat folded it clears the shift lever just fine... The seat back when folded does not pass the seat base and the head rest folds down in between the back and base.
Thanks,

Yes, the diagonals are welded from the sides of the receiver tube to the 6"channel which welded to the sides of the pintle hitch and rear frame cross member. It is very stout and doesn't flex at all... We hauled our RV aroun which has a 1503 lbs tounge weight and had the GoPro watching the...
It's welded all the way around the pintle hitch along with around the rear cross member. It doesn't flex in any direction and it was tested by pinning a hook hitch in the receiver and lifting the whole back end of the truck off the ground (I think I might have pictures of that somewhere) with a...
Yes, the original springer base was used. The two passenger seats have a 1" square tube welded to the bottom rails of the seat and those rails are bolted to the battery box lid with 3/8" grade 8 bolts. The drivers seat has a 2" square tubing welded to the rails of the seat and those are actually...
I can say that making minor adjustments to the injector pump which like everyone said above really awakens the truck to its full potential.... I find that I don't have to keep my foot all the way in it to maintain speed or climb grades; it just wants to pull!! Seach for the 6cta fuel mods and...
More hitch pictures as requested
I used 1 3/4" x 6" channel iron backed by 1/4" plate steel for rigidity. Then welded on the 2" receiver tube and gussets with 1 3/4" square tubing both in bottom and going up on diagonals. The 6" channel iron is welded along the sides of the pintle both on...

Installed new seats and finished the hitch
Finished fabrication and installation on the receiver hitch so we can pull the RV. Also was able to finish the installation of three new bucket seats! The wife and son can now ride in a little more comfort when we go down the road...
Was able to finish up the receiver hitch so we can pull civi trailers. We no can head out with the RV next weekend!!
Both the receiver and the pintle are fully functional!
Well, I finally got my pioneer tool kit installed on the M923A2 today!! I think it looks great and I had minimal customizing of the tools to fit, really just had to shorten the shovel by about two inches and that was all.
