I am in the process of mounting an RT-246 in my deuce under the passenger seat. Trying to stay as near original equipment as I can. There are holes under there with nuts on the bottom of the floor plate, but they are spaced out a little farther than the radio mount. I am making an adapter plate...

I don't think it will be a problem for you all to get in.

I think they can look you up on the net and see you are a member. They did that for me once.

I am positive you can register there at the door. No problem. They may not have the little goody bag, but you will get in. Fred

Sorry, my brother has a small machine shop and found or cut down a piece of bar stock to fit inside the stakes, then hammered them to fit. I was laid up due to an injury while this was being done and did not get to take pictures. I appreciate your info and will remember it for future reference...

My apologies. Did not realize there was a trailer forum. In the meantime, my problem has been resolved. A flat piece of steel and a hammer! Fits now. Thanks, Fred

Speaking of fuel tanks, where does one find a fuel tank for an M38A1 jeep? Mine is too rusty to save. Are there other tanks that will fit if I can't find a nos or replacement? thanks, Fred

One thought is to split/cut the stakes, and then weld them back. Any other ideas?

I don't have the bows, only the racks. I have tried them one at a time and the stakes are bigger than the pockets front to back.

Hi all, I have a problem with my fresh rebuild by VSE 105A2 trailer. The pockets in the bed for the racks are smaller than the stakes. There is no way to even start the stakes in these. Is this a common problem? What can I do to fix this? I got the racks from an older trailer, so do I need to...

I think I am going to have to cut mine to get them to go in.

aua Mine was rebuilt by VSE and the racks will not fit in the holes. Holes must have been made too small. Do I possibly have the wrong type of racks? They came off of another 105A2, as I took them off myself. I thought everything was supposed to interchange? Has anyone else run into this problem?

I just picked up some Lucas diesel additive yesterday, but have not added it in yet.
