I don't so Bob, the voltage regulator controls voltage to all bulbs. They would all be dim if the voltage regulator's output was low and your batteries would go dead
Bobweb, after thinking about this a few minutes, I think you could get a higher voltage than safe for your lighting if the voltage regulator is malfunctioning. However as said before, it would effect all operating lights, not just one.

If you must drill and re-tap, buy a left hand or reverse drill bit matching what the tap calls for. Sometimes the broken screw will back out while drilling

I changed the water separator fuel filter and both secondary filters, all spin on. It was a very easy task with the Jatonka spin on adaptors I had install on my Deuce when I bought it from Eastern Surplus about 9 years ago.
Had a leaking seal on the right front tandem of my Deuce. I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with new inner and outer seals, and grease resistant silicone rubber in the keyway. A motorcycle jack makes placing the hub back on the spindle very easy.
