We have a member that made a very similar looking gauge. I bought several for 00xa series because the transducer can't be found. Really nice design, only downfall was that it was not water proof. It let condensation and water behind the plastic messing them up. Took a year or more to develope...
If using 3 phase 416v or above. I suggest a Marathon se350 VR. I added the same push button excitor to the unit and it does great. That unit is running at 480v 3phase for a irrigation well pump.
So guys wanted to give everyone an update. The advr054 Works perfect as long as you have residual electricity. I let the unit sit for over a year and started it up, no power. So i installed a simple push button switch to excite the field. I used this push button switch from Oreilly's, then ran...
Since you have the back cover off you should be able to slide it over just alittle to line up. There is a pressure hold down on top near the aux pump you may have to loosen but thats it.
You dont need to remove the tank. Just push the tank over to center the hole in the panel and well nut. Then take the well nut out and put the new in. Your unit looks new, you may get lucky and just have to tighten it. DO NOT over tighten. It takes just a little pressure to seal the well nut.
I run through 50-75 units per year. I personally do not like real low hour units (100hours or less). They always have problems with injector pumps seized, rotting fuel lines, mice invasion, etc. The one thing to remember is there is no comparison between these and residential or commercial made...
When you open up the sealed injector system, it takes a while to get all the air out of the hard lines. Sometimes as many as 1-2 minutes of cranking, 4 or 5 times. If that doesnt work unhook the intake heaters and spray a very little amount of starting fluid in the intake (1 little squirt) to...
I think it would be great. Usually I see the R1 resistor burned on the 002a or 003a boards. They are simple to replace but for the beginninger would be great!
Are you trying to measure voltage while not cranking? Like Guy said, bottom out and then 3/4 of a turn should be fine. It should start and not grind. You can fine tune it with the manual but not necessary. I usually do like stated above and then after its running, if I hit the start switch and...
I would recommend the attachment. Its a wireless 24v transmittor. Hook it to the 2 wire hookup on the board and then use the remote from inside the house. Ive had one on my personal unit for years and still works perfect.
Kloppk is correct, contact Peter. Its very easy to installl, like Kloppk's units, after you understand your machine. The items that are referenced as S1, M5 etc are labeled inside your machine next to each item, if that helps.
Lakeland MEP-002A/003A AC Voltage Regulator (lakeserv.net) here is his website. I can' t remember screen name. Excellent boards! I've replaced several with his units and all have performed perfect.
I just had a unit that I was load testing with 279 hours. Stop producing and found a wire on the reconnection switch fired. I 99% sure it fried the windings :(
Everything Ray70 said above is point on. I would try raising the governor spring on the star adjustment to see if the hunting stops. I doubt its the injectors or pump. Its going to be something easy.
