thought about that, need to find a 915 or 916 to pull it, you really feel the 20Klbs behind the 818 up hills. I did pick up a couple of LED night lights to make it easier to find the ladder after turning off the overhead lights, finding the ground was easy, but the finding the ladder would be...
i'm not authorized to post up under resources and can't log in, guess i'm too new.
yes it is narrower than the m123 with outer duals so no overwidth is needed, it is full air brakes and over 26,000 lbs, so a CDL will be needed.
M-920 specs
top speed......... 59mph
max range........ 280 miles...
from rc4wd. a scale machine shop.
RC4WD - The Ultimate RC Products
scale wheels, axles, tires frames and more. for the radio control scale and competition crowd.
they have some neat but pricey parts
not insulin, insulation. special synthetic high temp oil, etc
I have pics of one from springfeild IL when we picked up an 816.
it is an ugly truck. the bows were out of the top and it was stretched tight with about 20 gallons of water in it. you can see extra gauges
ok, thanks, it looks like the drivelines were in place when it was rebuilt in 2005 seeing as it got a fresh coat of carc then and none is chipped off the bolt heads. Now what is a drop box pump?
Busch?! what kind of hooligans do you think you are dealing with? Only reason the bud is up there is the local distributor quit carrying Old Style.
and seriously, who washes their trucks? that's what rain is for.
i'll have to check that. so far the tag axle had a broken link that caused it to bind on the way up so i had to pull the ends off and weld it back together.
don't know if it is for sure big cam 3, but seeing as how it was brand spankin' new in december 2004...
i had to throw a can in there...
just for the next day or so, when i got the practically brand new batteries that came with the 920 home, I checked voltages, 2 were at 12.3v, one was at 1.6v, and the other at 0.6v.
i got the completely dead batteries on the trickle charger over night to try and bring them back up easy. in the...
yeah, pretty much looking at them, driving down to the gas station to pick up a 30 pack of refreshing beverages, heading to downtown StL to get some lunch and waving at the mayor while the news is interviewing him in front of city hall. The neighbor kids convinced us to go to mudfest in the...
i think if i am following the line of your questions, the wheel width at the bead is what you are asking about? I would think it was fairly close. the outer diameter is the same obviously and you aren't trying to mix the 900x20's and 1100x20's so the overall diameter should be a non issue. Even...
we had it trucked in from georgia to st. louis, fired it up and drove it off the trailer and home.
With the truck batteries being retained by a ratchet strap, and two of the tires being flat, we didn't get it up to any speed, just unloaded it and drove it the half mile to the house from the...
As of saturday morning the M920 has made its way home.
couldn't get it to jump start with the slave cable but we had brought 4 truck batteries along just in case. The, uhm, technically challenged had apparently hooked up the last batteries in the truck, they had two extra short jumpers...
the wiper arms had an extra metal piece, but not that would work with the wipers mounting system.
to be fair, the auto parts store didn't have the 31-13 wipers, but had the metal framed anco areo-vantage wiper blades instead. there didn't seem to be any other pieces in the packaging.
