This is a 24 volt Jabco searchlight off a boat. I didnt want to drill in to my top so this mount is what I came up with. I can still use my soft top and fold the windshield. Ok so here is what I came up with. I used the hose flange off the old coolent type heater box and redrilled it to bolt on the fuel heater over the fan intake. Bjorn Are the heaters you use pulling fresh air from a outside source? I think it would be a benifit to have outside air but I wonder how it would affect the heater operation.

I have 2 600 watt soft plug heaters in my truck, I can plug it in for 3 hours and the engine is warm. Works great.
