No one can beat the sales staff at Tew's Armory!
We will be at Gilbert in Sept in force! got a hold of 3 pallets of WWII ammo cans- headed to the AIr SHow in Reading PA to sell them!
Tew's Armory will be set up at the show, w an M936 and M35A3! we have tons of ammo cans, pulleys, stretchers, military tool boxes, medical gear we even convinced our female sales staff to join us! The wrecker is getting a new alternator at Kublos as we speak! See you all there!
I passed my test today, only missed one so I took the General test as well- that did not go very well. I will try that one again in the future, but at least I go my license started and get to hook up my cool radio in my truck- no idea where to start and there are litterally BOOKs upon books on...
I take my test on Tuesday for mine, and I will add mine to my SS signature. I like the idea of adding a radio to my wrecker for mobile communications, and from everything Ive heard about the HAM community is growing- probably thats to NAT GOE "Preppers."
YOu will also see our call signs listed...
There is no greater feeling than towing your brothers little toy with the BIG BOY Wrecker! We crusied down Rt 81 faster than hes able to make it go! LOL Loved it! and thanks to our beautiful support staff at Jim Thorpe- she does a great job selling ammo cans at every gun show!
Are there any upgrades for a tired 250 Cummins engine? It just wont push my wrecker (M936) up a hill! Are Turbos available, do they work?
does a M936A2 have a different engine and are they interchangeable?
LOL the Wrecker doesnt even know its back there! didnt have any problems on the road, expect that the lights didnt work and I had to tie up one of the legs once I put it on the hitch!
Its a 3 man job! The vehicle lists a three man crew for a reason! lol usually 2 strong privates and a SGT to control the levers. Mine does the same thing, unspools on the drum, then we yank it off and keep going. You cant drive it either while unspooling since the Tcase is in neutral- thats how...
I do have a M936 Wrecker, and yes I do have a CDL. I would highly encourage it- since it is a heavy beast. I do not know if it required, but they are easy to get, read the book and take a test at DMV, not very expensive and the info is pretty good, and may help!
My mileage has been 6-7 on the...
Thanks, We will be at the Oaks Gun Show Dec 14-16. We will have our wrecker there set up in the parking lot, make sure you stop by and see us at the show- we will have our tables set up at the show and a couple of models in santas helpers outfits selling ammo can- so we will definately get some...
OK, it took me about 3 try's and a few late nights of reading the manual but I finally found all the levers and controls to turn on the winches! the biggest issue was that I had the front winch in the correct possition but it was stuck on the drum- had to hook it up to my truck just to unspool...
