2+ months and the guy isn’t answering his phone. He said he would call me at the end of the week when I dropped it off. When he didn’t, I called him after 4 weeks, and he said he was having trouble getting it apart. Now a few months, and no answer. So I just bought a new one.
Any tips on tearing this down and cleaning it? I know there’s a YouTube video from Tactical Repair for cleaning contactors. Any Rec on a suitable replacement?
Yup, not gonna work on my truck. Probably went to the other MV the department had years ago. The two are the same though. Figured I could pass them on to someone else who might need them.

Also found out that I will be getting extra wheels and tires from the city. Not sure of their condition yet, but stored inside at least. Won’t pick them up until after the 20th.

Finally got to work on the truck today. New batteries, filters, oil. Engine turned manually. Cleaning and inspecting.

Work always ruins it, that and waiting for warmer temps so the ice (water) melts. Gonna work on it Friday afternoon and Saturday.

Taking a small victory today. Electrical seems decent so far, normal and blackout lighting works. No low air horn or light (not sure if this has a horn). Right taillight out, no change with brake application. All flashers and blinkers work.
