Installed left axle boot,(like wrestling a greased pig). replaced dimmer switch, and installed engine block heater. only to find engine oil in coolant. Guess its time to replace oil cooler and seals.

After a couple of weeks of trying to get this tire and wheel combo to feel comfortable while i am driving, I have come to the conclusion that the big tires arent worth it. I will reinstall the 11.00-20 ndcc's back on and enjoy driving my truck again.
I drove it again today. The shake in the steering wheel is intermittent. straight line driving around 50mph and everything is relatively smooth. I do notice a shake in the wheel in a turn, curve etc.
Well the 395s are bolted to the truck, front shims have been modified, and a short test drive. I went from a comfortable one handed driver to a nervous two handed driver. It appears that I will have to do some balancing after all. Next weekend I will go ahead and slime all 6 tires.

I am getting ready to install my new rims and tires this weekend. Every truck tire shop near me cant balance these big wheels. I still have the run flats in them, so beads are out. any suggestions?
