Interesting question, I don't have the answer, I know the deuce was not intented as a front line assault vehicle, but at the same time they did have the "option" of the gun ring, say the M66. The guy's here with or had the mounts will chime in I'm sure. (Twinfifty's is one, or Bill aka dieselsmoke)
In case anyone wants the NAPA part numbers for the budd stud and nut, they are in the post below

I'm with you gringeltaube , sounds a bit confusing  But the answer is......Right hand thread right side(passenger side), left hand thread left side(driver), that goes for both front and rear.
It works IBEZKUM  Welcome aboard!

Let me clearify my statement, everything on my truck has a rebuild tag of 11/91 including CARC and rustproofing. I did'nt mean to imply that since it also has a MWO tag dated 11/91, the entire truck was rebuilt. It has a MWO tag that just has 11/91, so I don't know what the MWO was
My 1966 has rebuild tags on everything, winch, motor, t-case etc. It also had CARC and rustproofing done at the same time. All this has a date of 11/91. It has the MWO tag, but it just has a date of 11/91. So the entire truck was redone in 91.
Heres a tag on the T-case
Bill, While having extra capacity, ie. bigger, more tanks, you will have a longer run time for your tools, but without a bigger compressor the recovery time will be the same. So the compressor is still working as hard. I have been pondering mounting a "large" tank with a valve I could open when...
da-beast You might want to check my post in "conversations" notice to comply submitted by Wallew, its on the top of page 3. It shows a short version of fed regs for what is a commercial vehicle. Show that to the inspector, unless you use your M35 for commercial reasons or you have comm. plates...
You can always use spare parts, sell, trade, or give them away like your doing. I have given away lots of spare parts away to members on this site. Someday someone will return the favor if they have spare parts I might need

I would get new Quality gloves!!! CARC contains ISOCINATES, very very bad stuff :!: This stuff gets absorbed through your skin :!: Your entire body needs protection, no bare skin and you need a FRESH AIR respirator :!: Can't use the old "I'm holding my breath, and spraying outdoors"...
Dave P,
As far as I know the 126" wheelbase was the M43 Ambulance which you don't have. Or the M271 (V-41) which is the telephone installation light maintance and cable splicing truck
The dump version of the M37 would be the XM708 I do believe. Not very common  Is the one your looking simply a modification by the owner, or a true XM :?:
