    super single go's my deuce

The tubeless tire must have a tube for use on your split rims. Flaps will lengthen the life of the tube but depending what you read they may or may not be absolutely necessary. ( see usa6x6.com http://www.offroadchat.com/showthread.php?s=cbe77b3218a96c98391ac9f77a9eb9e3&t=3679 ) I put new...

    Quad Cab updates--UPDATED 11-13-05

How about a 2.5 ton trailer box but make it a dump box. or go with the single axle and extend the cab further for a "staff car" wagon look. A big soft top would give it that 1930's gangster appeal.

    LDT-465-1D whistler turbo conversion

Armada has switched his from a D to a C. He Loves it. There is no doubt what it is when you hear it. I drove it today for an hour or two and I (me, the guy w/muffler and sound proofing) must admit that it is pretty cool. If it's what you want, go for it! [thumbzup] ~Pappa-G

does the cucv have a secondary fuel

I belong to a NG Helo unit and they have been using JP8/JetA in their CUCV's for as long as I can remember. They also use it in thier M35's, HEMMIT's and LAV's. I guess it's easier if every thing burns the same fuel. The only draw back I have noticed is the jetfuel has less power. ~ Pappa-G

    Engine In

The neat thing is all the "new" noises that you'll hear while you put your first 500 miles on the rebuild. It is truely a great thing turning a anchor into a runner, Good Job! [thumbzup] ~ Pappa-G

    Single handed bed installation

Last weekend I put a M109 box on my M185, chains and gravity will get them off (the old one) We ended up jacking the new one up and holding it up with a 4x4 on each corner then let the jacks down. Had to deflate my tires quite abit to get under and clear everything. Neither of us got hurt so I...

Has Anyone put ten 1100 x20 tires on a deuce ??

The rears are out from the fronts by atleast half the tread width. I am still running on the "thimbles". From what I understand the front lug nuts will fit just fine. I found these local. I wanted to run duals in the rear but have been unable to find any for a decent price. Berg Tire is a real...
