I'm glad it was an inexpensive fix. Do you check mileages? If so, let us know what kind of difference you get. I had an old '84 'burban with a rebuilt 700r4 that lasted for years and that was with a 6" lift and a teenager! :D

I have read people saying that it is a shame to cut up these trucks to make "bobbed" trucks. But after going to see all the trucks offered just at Drexel Gardens(Stout Field), I'm guessing that there are way morethan needed for all! :lol:

I'd check the glow plugs individually first. I once bought a 6.2 that had brand new shiny glow plugs in it. I did a quick test of the circuit with a test light and the light came on. Several frustrating days later I checked the individual glow plugs and found the PO had "tested" each glow plug...
