mine only comes on for a sec when i start it up then give it a rev it goes away. if the light comes on with the fan being on i think that would have to be the alternator or the belts are slipping you cant hear them over the engine noise.

do your gen 1 and 2 lights come on when u turn the key?

do both of the gen lights come on when you first turn the key? my gen 1 light was loose and it wont charge unless its working mine was doing the same thing sitting between the yellow and green but now wont start after its warmed up

okay so now she starts right up when i first try but after i drive around come home then try to leave again it just cranks and cranks. both bats say 12.8 volts. the meter is in the green when i drive. anyone else have problems starting when the truck is warm? its about 45 deg today here this...

do you really think a m1008 could have that many miles on it? mines says 36,000 and from what i can tell it seems like its orig miles the underneath looks pretty clean and some of the orig black paint is on the frame

finally fixed the problem today.. turns out it was the Gen 1 light bulb being loose it wasnt letting the battery charge looks like i got new bats for no reason! oh welll
