Wrong! As long as you disconnect the pink wire to the IP solenoid while you bleed the fuel filter, there is no need to deal with the high pressure side of the fuel system. Its SOP;standard operating procedure.
They sent what they thought were the right bushings. As the diagram shows..there are quite a few different sizes listed. Hard to believe the armature shaft diameters could be so different, unless it was turned on a lathe and would then require an over sized bearing. If you rebuild the starter...
I've only ever used the test light method for 10 years now. Take all the spade connectors off, test light hooked to positive, very fast method to check GP's. Longest part is putting spade connectors back on. Can always hear when one has failed by the engine sound at start up, look in the mirrors...
I used a bed liner by Color your Hippo. It was the tintable version, added 383 Green. 2 coats gave a very thick coating, been very durable. although, I did forget to add some black to offset the slight yellowish tint of the product.
Does your starter spin over fast enough? If its in need of a rebuild like mine was originally when I got it, it was laboriously painful to get it to fire in cold weather. Now it starts instantly, on one second engagement of the starter.
Mine was the filter base pressure sensor also. Until you trace the leak you might try this; after you get it running and shut it down for the day, crack the fuel cap. This releases the vacuum in the tank that is drawing the air into your fuel system causing the fuel drain back. Next morning it...
Interesting note, my ground wires are all good, clean and tight. Never had any electrical problems, yet when I had my radiator rebuilt, guy said it looked like I had some corrosion forming in the side tanks. My replacement heater core has been in for 6 years, tons of heat, no issues there.
Is your IP solenoid functioning? You should hear it click when power is applied. You tried bleeding your injectors? It takes quite a few crank cycles to purge all the air from the lines.
I place a couple of pieces of cardboard along the inner fenders, it shows the fuel spray pattern well and...
When it happened to me it turned out to be a leaking fuel pressure sensor on the back of the fuel filter base. Check for any wetness at the bottom. Although in my case it didn't appear wet but still drew air into the fuel system overnight with the tank vacuum. You'll have to bleed the injectors...
First you have to figure out the fuel leak down you have in the low pressure side, as you've stated that there is no fuel at the filter bleed. You have to have fuel up to the filter before you can think about bleeding the injector lines-the high pressure side. Sounds like somewhere there is a...
As said above, confirm that your GP relay is actually heating the plugs. Do check your plugs to confirm they are all good. Starter rotation speed is also critical. Another issue is that AC60's require more burn time to heat up, I have a manual push button, when it's that cold I have to give it...
I find that the AC60's require more burn time to get up to temperature for a quick start and smooth idle. Although my wait light, right now, goes out after 8 seconds, I hold it for an additional 8 seconds. Good rule of thumb; double the wait light time. Of course you still have to manually...
A good wheel alignment shop can tell you if your steering box needs replacing. Be careful where you source a steering box from. I got a new refurbished unit from the local parts place here, when it was installed I was told it had more play than my original worn out box. It appears they just...
