    If the front is still posi and has not been bothered there will be a tag on the front cover held on bye one of the cover bolts. If I remeber correctly it says use limited slip fluid only its normally on the top right bolt as you look at the axle from the front. :driver:

    Is the drive shaft bent ? was it bent when you got the truck maybe fork truck damage common problem if the drive shaft is dented or bent and you drive could couse the crack also a bad sprag gear in the trans will crack it in the back half!

    If you want a heavy rubber mat for the back of a 1009 find a rubber bed mat for a pickup a shor box is close and trim to fit ! works great and is plenty heavy!:driver:

    M1009 Lockout hub bolt question, not a allen bolt.

    Just for your info delt with a lot of lockouts the 1/4 turn ones are not the way to go. They turn harder unlocking and tend to bind more about the same locking most of time If you can find full turn or the 3/4 turn lockouts like you have you will like them alot better I recomend the superwinch...

    :ditto: I agree with both not that bad just takes time! Close door , look at lines loosen and move as needed two peaple is helpful I use a floor jack with a block of wood and rags at bottom of door to hold them [thumbzup] when I loosen the hinge then after body line and gaps are good check...
