Great Idea!! When I drove the Dempster Highway it was a mix of mud and dry. The dirt had a tenancy to blow up under the cover and coat every thing with dust.

How bad was the dust coming up under the cargo cover? I bought the aluminum medic containers for the trip and were sure a life saver!!

Back home after 2 and a half weeks on the road!! What a trip!!! And I would do it all over again. The Dempster sure took a tole on the paint!!! I did give it a fresh coat of paint later in the summer.

Then to Vancouver BC and a ferry ride to Vancouver Island and then back to Washington State!!!

We headed south to Haines Junction. Then a lunch break before we get to Haines.

Then to Whittier for some fresh Halibut!!! We are waiting in line to go thru the Whittier Tunnel. Then to start our way south back home :(

Then on to Anchorage and then the Kenai. The first pic is the view from my motel room. The Kenai is the next.

We went to Fairbanks and then to Denali National Park.

After Tok we stopped a the end of the ALCAN Highway then to the North Pole.

Back at Dawson City. Then the ride across the Yukon River to the Top of the World Highway and a stop at Chicken.

The Artic Circle!!!! Then our way back to Dawson City.

After Whitehorse I wanted to drive the Dempster Highway. WOW!! what a trip. So much to see and be sure to take along some extra fuel and spare tire. Even though I never had to use them.... Made a lot of stops along the way. I tried to make it to the Artic Ocean but the rivers were still...

A night in Teslin Yukon. Next stop Whitehorse.

Our next stop!!! The YUKON!!! Contact Creek and Watson Lake.

Another stop to relieve some coffee!! What beauty full county!!!!

Next stop was Ft Nelson. We enjoy getting up and hitting the road around 6am to see the wildlife. Then a short stop to get out and take in the sights.

We made it to the start!! We were so lucky to have great weather!
