Just went through a 6.5 NA complete rebuild, block, crank, and rods were all good on that one. .20 bore to clean up the cylinders, should be running soon.

I haven't picked it up yet, but the pan will be the first thing off. I needed crossover for manifold, dip stick, front pulleys, valve cover, and a few misc. parts, after finding them on different sites and adding shipping and tax, it was easier for me to buy the whole motor.

I bought this engine for a few parts that I needed off of it, but does anyone have a clue what causes this to oil pan?

8 new injectors coming today, plus with the .20 bore on all 8 cylinders- I worried about lighting up all 4 tires when I leave the stop light.

With that part removed, will the roof still stay on during transport? LOL

New heads back from machine shop, got bare castings. I had my original heads, plus 2 I found magna fluxed and the all had cracks. Maybe 2 weeks or so and should be rolling coal.

Same boat here, I going out that way tomorrow morning to pick up a 6.5 turbo motor, I'll drive by and make sure they are still in the same parking lot at Letterkenny LOL.

The valve covers came off and I had two stuck valves. I figured I already sunk 1,500 into a new DB2 IP, lets keep going and ship it to the machine shop. Currently magna fluxed and is bored 30 over, just waiting for an engine kit while the heads are being rebuilt.

I got the same email. I bought one from iron planet last year and the EUC was less than 2 months. I thought this time it would be faster. Not the case.

I made a template for half doors, getting them sheared now from 1/4", I'll make my own full doors to the correct height with the correct hinge, not the soft door hinge.
