    Replacement radiator?

Thanks for that, I've been trying to figure this out for a week and this is the first real lead I've gotten. Both the heater core and the coolant sensor have caps. Both caps are aluminum and threaded. I attached two images of the thread measurements that I took and sent to the company. When I...

    Replacement radiator?

Yessir. My original post never mentioned cooler lines - my problem is with the heater core and the coolant sensor.

    Replacement radiator?

It shows the thread sizes for the cooler lines, but it does not show the thread sizes for the heater core hose and coolant sensor. See the attached image. The one that arrived is different than the one in the photo also, it doesn't have a hose barb on the radiator instead it has a threaded...

New CUCV - Bulb test and other issues?

Thanks Barrman, that's helpful. So the Coolant Temp Warning Light does not come on with the key on? Just want to confirm. The TM says the engine operating temp is 180-260F, so is it safe to assume that the Coolant Temp Warning Light comes on around 260+? I suppose I can idle it longer and...

New CUCV - Bulb test and other issues?

Hi all, I just got a 1987 M1008 and I'm combing through it for issues. I originally cut my teeth working on OBS Chevy's, but squarebodies and diesels are new to me. I have all the TMs that I could find, but there's a few things I couldn't find answers for. Here's the issues I've found so far...
