Is it easy to get the HP out of this engine. There is no way a diesel engine this huge should only produce 140 hp. My Chevy 3500 makes 430 hp with a chip, exhaust, and intake. It actually will produce over 600 if I want it to. My Dodge 3500 inline six makes 300 hp. What is the trick to get hp...
I just bought a M35 with 7000 miles since a refurb in 1991. It has the diesel with turbo. Is it normal to slow down to 45 or so on the interstate going up hills?? Seems like it should have enough power to pull hills empty at full speed?? Can I turn the HP up on this thing?
We took most of my restored stuff to a local school for Veteran's Day. The kids loved the trucks and uniforms. Alan

The Fairplay Christmas parade organizers called and asked if we would bring a few vehicles to honor veterans. If you are close to Fairplay, SC, stop by. Alan
Funny........... My son and Chris are best friends......... Did he tell you about the M211 that was used in his father's funeral? That is my son's truck.
I live in North West SC and restore MV for a hobby. I am active in the local parades. I own anything from a GPW to a M211. Alan
