Hi, Wanted to share my new jeep project, its a 1953 m38a1 running and driving! going to start work on it in the spring. does anybody know if these jeeps had rear weight data plates on them and if so where would it be mounted. thanks again Gabe
Hi, Just bought a very cool 53 M38A1, Running great and shifting great also. As I was driving it just shut off and no power anywhere no horn nothing?? Can anybody help or have any idea what happened? it has 72K miles on it and in very good shape. I will try to attach some pics. Gabe from NH
Hi, I just found the trailer lifting plate that I had been looking for. Does anyone know which side of the drawbars to install it? (My frame has holes on both sides) Thanks Gabe

Rapco 3 color. This is my 3rd trailer restoration project. It takes me about a year of doing it part time. I have attached my other 2 projects. The first was a 1946 henry spen, and the second was a 1967 stevens m416.
no paperwork, bought it from a scrap guy for 200 bucks. Had holes in the bed, and gas tank under with a filler neck on the right side. I removed all of that. Maybe that info will help me find a year it was made and a maker. reflectors I have, they had metal frames and not a matching painted one...

I have a 1967 stevens m416 trailer. (4 color camo) I have been in the process of restoring it and found under some house paint a blue diamond with the markings being 5LM at the top of the diamond, left side had USMC and the right side had the trailer number 343393. My question is would this have...
