Ok covers off and there is not a single wire plugged into the fuel gauge.. where do they originate from?

Im having some trouble getting it of.. did you peal it from the front side or did you take the whole white cluster out? I cant get the black frame off the front end of the gauges.. and i dont wanna **** it.

the reason why i also mentioned the kit that i use.. is that it has centering guides so you can clearly center a drill bit if you need to create more of a surface to work with.. the first time i did it i used a center punch and got close.. but the drill guides are quite helpful.

So you're saying you pulled off the instrument panel and looked at the gauge? How hard was that?

Hey Ando, So what these guys are saying here is try to catch an edge of a non smooth broken bolt.. It usually doesnt shear off flat.. so use a tool and try to catch the edge and spin it out. If that doesnt work you can use bolt removal tools or left handed drill bits.. I dont like the cone...

Sounds like a chipped flex plate. You need to pull the starter and look at the teeth in the engine. Might need to fix that... Then look back at the starter situation. You should bench test the starter while you have it down off the car... Then if you have a working starter with good teeth...
