The trucks were driven in, but won't start. I was figuring they didn't know about turning the batteries on. Now I'll definitely hold out for ones I can get my nose under.

I can build anything needed for converting it. I'm a real machinist, not some button pusher CNC zombie operator. I've also been welding about 15 years (got a late start), and fabricating stuff over 20.

I know the fuel economy is lacking, but you can buy a lot of diesel for what you save from buying a road truck and prep it to go in the woods.
I won't be skidding logs with it. :D I would be hauling a skidsteer on a trailer, and hauling logs in the bed.
