towing the only thing that you could do is to either add a tow sling (very limited due to the plastic and very thin metal bumpers), or add an underlift to the rear of the wrecker( do not believe that you would have enough nose weight to pack a road tractor from the front with the wrecker)...

yup, your dad was right. they do leave that open to drain. the plug you saw actually goes in that hole, you only use it with the fording kit.
