hookin 1 has a muffler, his is hidden, behind the storage box. only have to modify the pipe by cutting out a few inches and adding 2 elbows. cann't tell it's even there. i'll try to get the part # and some pics for you.

in indiana, you can get a Historic Military Vehicle plate instaed of the collectors plate or the antique plate. don't know if your state has them, but we can drive our mv all the time that way.

forklift, if you can hold off for a few weeks, i can get you a heater, probably the complete kit. it'll be used, but i don't think the inside of your truck will care. heat is heat. let me know.

cann't really think of anyone who does not need duece tires, including myself. if you've got the room, throw me in a set. don't forget your list for howards when you come this way.

if you do go to bid on one, check here, there might be someone close by that can go look at it for you, and relay the condition, as well as any known problems. better to know before than after.

well, i finally got her here in evansville, thought it would never happen. now i have to get the tank cleaned out, change all the filters and fluids, and of cource, the brakes do not work. if i ever get one that is road worthy when i purchase it, i will probably die from shock. never ever let...

the warmer the better, cold air and cold metal do not react well with paint, it will take forever to dry, and yes, it will be more likely to run. prime the entire truck, but scuff or sand it first, before each coat if not in a clean environment. and for goodness sakes, do not run your fingers...

Well, as luck would have it, I had to work all day. I was out before the alarm even went off aua . this is really starting to bite. Will try to get truck by this weekend :cry: .

new cable Hookin1 and myself grabbed a handful of the engine stop cables last time at Howards, NOS. You will have to get ahold of H though, not sure where he put them.

As I am sure that almost everyone on the forum has seen a MVPA sticker, noone has yet to ask the obvious, why don't we have a STEEL SOLDIERS sticker to let people know that we belong to the best mv club in the nation? I personally would not care how much they would cost. the money collected...

it would greatly increase the possibility of mv get togethers, as well as swap meets. i would almost bet that it would also help to spread the word out about the web sight.
