Ideally you want the batteries to 'rest' a while before taking the reading on the cells, right after the charger is disconnected the cells will usually read higher. I think waiting 30 - 60 mins then taking another reading will give you a more true value.
Mine has a clinking sound which is the float moving when the fuel sloshes, can only hear it with the truck off/shortly after driving it and as the fuel stops moving so does the sound....
I have seen them in Tan, not a paint expert but the military paint is so rough I would think adhesion would be good as long as there wasn't a solvent reaction creating fish eyes or orange peel.
With the rough surface it might be hard to get a good even gloss maybe 2cents
I would consider tractor + water tanker trailer, that way you can also haul other stuff with tractor if needed with a flat bed or other variety of trailers...

No didn't pay, They were over 2 hours late too. I would have been on the road much quicker with a battery swap. But thought what the heck for $60 I could get a quick jump and then take my time when home to make the right battery purchases. As opposed to buying a quick fix setup from Walmart...
Now you need a crane or wrecker to lift the things you buy at GL off the trailer :) I used a rollback to offload my forklift which was 6500# and it made the rollbacks front wheels come off the ground when they unloaded it...
