I am getting ready to hook up PU 794/G (modified mep004) 20KW genset.
I have a 200 amp double throw transfer switch ,sixtyfeet of so cable for direct plug in , pin and sleeve connectors, and 1/0 to go from the meter panel to the transfer switch and back to the main panel.

50PSI is what they should be for highway driving, 35 PSI for off road and 15 PSI for sand and soft mud.
They will only suck the stem in when they are flat,Under 5 PSI.

As these guys said, there are alot of running trucks around that you could probably buy for alittle more than 2K, If you go the GL route, you could possibly do a little better . Of course i havent seen any trucks on GL in maine though.

Ive seen some of the trucks from dave, and they are pretty nice, I also know guys who bought from GL and then had dave repaint the trucks for them and they are nice also. Kinda kickin the idea around of having him paint one of mine.
Or we could give out fish infected with small pox ;-)

Well the rusty rockets here in new jersey, seem to be hittin the 2k to 3k mark these days ! Any body who have seen these new jersey guard trucks know what im talking about.

They are getting around $175 plus shipping, This is a three color insulated top. I have bought a few and am very impressed with the quality and the fit!
There is a cork insert in the keyway just behind the outer seal. when this cork fails the gear lube runs through the hub and down the inside wheel, Now while this is happening, it is washing all the grease out of your wheel bearings. So dont drive it till you fix it!! Some guys just use rtv...
I just installed the new yellow silicone one piece boots! They are real easy to install to ! I did the install alone and did not have any issues putting the outer clamp on ,Like with the old style boots . They are much heavier duty than the old black rubber boots
Of course while i had it apart...
I just bought a set of the new Yellow silicone one piece boots, They are outstanding quality boot! I'll never buy the old style again. Good luck with yours.
