I would get a new one. I have tried used ones without much luck

Trans cats eyes is non communication between keypad and tcm. Usually its a bad tcm

Did you check the bulbs

If its cold out theres a solenoid relay that controls the intake grid heater its a common failure

The stalks go bad. Dash light switches go bad. Sometimes dash grounds. If its intermittent I would start with replacing the blinker stalk.

Does your hand pump get hard? It could be clogged restrictor

Bad ground and current finds the next best path thru something else.

The polarity box under the spare tire? You can bypass it. What makes you think its going bad? The main grounds go bad I always add a new big ground from the batts negative to a sanded spot on the main frame rail.

Lines dry rot especially the one from tank to primer housing.

For some reason when you jump a truck with dead batts it spikes the wtec3 tcm. Dosnt seem to do it to the wtec2 trucks. You can charge dead batts and its fine its the “batts stone dead and jump start the truck without letting the batteries get any charge”

Tcm gets fried when you try to jump start with dead batts. Its under dash behind the passenger kick. I have replacements.

The main ground goes thru that current shunt they go bad often. Polarity box another common culprit

If you are ordering the torque rods online I would ask the dealer if they are original military parts or aftermarket copies made overseas prior to buying. So you at least know what you are getting.
