I have the oem X-Doors and the hinge mounts allow with a bit of work to align them properly while not perfect they are sure respectable. I'm thinking about putting some bed liner in the inside of the doors to help with the noise.

You could install a remote stand alone proportioning valve to the rear brakes with an adjustable knob and makes everything very easy. Have done this on equipment over the years.

They are nice units but heavy as hell to move. Three of us all over 60 had fun carrying it to my buddies cabin/shed/hamshack. He has a crazy exhaust venting system that allows zero genset exhaust into the shed. He has the Genset as a backup for the shed and house and well pump.

Yep I opened it quick for the same reason. I would love to figure out and install an NV5600 in my old girl. And while at it a 24v 5.9 cummins. One can dream.

No not really. I have those add on corner pieces but haven't installed them with rivets yet. I have to replace the windshield rubber molding as it's old and let's rain in. Always something with these truck.

Found some pics online of the gear I used. Bolted the brackets to the wooden slats and wires the strobes to a switch in the dash. I used canvas water buckets with the wires removed as beacon covers. The fit perfectly and look the part.
