There are pros that will do this sort of thing, you can find shops on the internet. And some of the people on here are certified and/or their trucks never leave their property or see pavement. However, if you're going off road, it won't matter as no insurance will attach to off road anyways...

Got this for such occasions. Fits between the tires and rolls out almost the entire length. A luxury maybe, but I've had to crawl under in the mud before too.

I used a 1/2" 10 to 6 adapter plate that I found on evil bay. The 10 bolt pattern was 10x335mm, the same pattern also used by MRAP's I believe.

My wheels never came close to my exhaust. I sold my 10 wheel set about a year ago. I originally got them from Ft. Lewis. Look for govplanet military auctions. Mine came with Michelin XL's on them.

For what it's worth, some super singles (Michelin) are designed to be used with inner tubes. Also, though I never tried it with power steering, the M1076 wheel, which I used for 395's has a 0 offset and didn't rub when turning.

My go to when searching for vehicles is what's used on boats. More tech is designed for boats than off-road, it seems. And boats experience rough conditions, as rough as any off-road with bad weather conditions and salt water thrown in for extra fun. This will be my passenger, most of the time.

So, I did a search but there wasn't much there. Has anyone driven with FLIR? How fast or slow is recommended? Articles written by manufacturers are self serving. Would vehicle mounted be better than wearing a personal device? I await the first post saying I don't need this.

Did it once, as a kid with my father in a mosquito plagued stream in Maryland. But, no, nothing serious. And I don't expect to do anything serious this time either.
