Modern Russian Army in the photos.

This is exactly correct. If the robot is to interface anywhere a human might be, it is logical and essential. But equally important to consider is application; the human is the "Swiss Army knife" of creatures. Physically, we don't do any one thing the best, but we do far more. We can climb...

Turret / Weapon's Station in Helmet Top

I don't know if it can support the weight on its own. The SF GMV uses an independent support structure shown really well here: http://g503.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=210224&p=1231822&hilit=soft+top+turret#p1231822

    Legality of owning m113

You can indeed legally own it and drive it on the road in the UK. The M113 is actually less expensive in the UK than the US as many were sold from NATO stock that cannot be returned to the US. BENELUX countries sold off a bunch a few years ago and they were very reasonably priced. Not as cheap...

    SR71 Blackbird

That's not quite true. President Johnson was the first to publically mention the RS-71, which he mistakenly called the SR-71 and the name was changed. That was 1965. Bush was CIA director in 1976.

    Vw Iltis

My German Type 183 from 12 years ago. It was a great vehicle. Fun and reliable. Easy to work on and great on or off road.

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

This is a great thread but so long...I've tried to read it all. Three questions: 1. So at this point, what is the thoughts on durability? 2. What do you use as primer on bare metal? 3. Can you choose the finish as in eggshell vs. flat etc.?

    Helmets When Driving

A good bump helmet like the Protec Ace is light, well ventilated, inexpensive and offers really good protection. Used by SOCOM troops and off-roaders.
