LMTV winch is hydraulic. 4x4 has a 10k winch and 6x6 would have a 15k winch. Other vehicles have had the same style side mounted winch also. Post pics.
Its the highway driving that does them in. I think with the high speed gearing you would get longer life out of them. At 57mph they are really humming away.
I used a 24v hid flood and mounted it on a tripod. Used one of the nato mbu power cables so I can plug it into a truck and have a portable worklight. Came in handy a few times already.
Prevents someone from putting the batteries in backwards. If your truck has batt cutoff solenoids at the batt box then your truck uses the advanced polarity box it assists in regulating battery charging.
Wheel valves cant just dump air. The manifold has to send a certain pressure to hold them open to allow for air dumping. Could be the manifold but if the system flashes hwy and then goes to run flat it seems to be sensing low tire pressure.
The system does a pressure test, sees low and sends air which is diluted thru the bad hub seal leak and tricks the wheel valves to dump. Do you hear a siren sound?
If one of the check valves by the steering box, or your tractor protection valve have a cracked diaphragm then you will drop pressure faster when braking.
