I think I paid $100 ea for the two lights.
I'll be making the panel, but I haven't decided on the type of light switches I'll be using in the cab. You really only need a couple on/off toggles and a couple joysticks. Little analog sticks are like $5.
LOL, yeah I have "camper project build stuff" in:
Living room
Dining room (floor to ceiling)
M1082 trailer (filled up to the roof)
As well as every square inch of the garage
I've been working on the house the past month and between family coming down I've made zero progress with the build.
I have a pair of IBIS TEK remotes. I plan on making a small "cage" for each and incorporating them into the roof rack. And like you, I'll have switches and a couple small joysticks in the center console to control them (mine will be on a master panel with a number of other features, thoough)...
Muh widdle bare hippy feets hurtz jus lookin at that....
;)
Like the steps on the M1079, great traction but HELL on bare feet (and I'm at the beach 90% of my life). I had to carpet over the stairs to my habitat. Even the dog wouldn't step on those things.
LOL
ymmv
I was kinda thinking the same.
In any event, it's a $2000 solution to a $0 problem. The OEM and similar fixed steps work just fine.
But I wouldn't give 2-cents for something that you have to get out to lower (so you can get out to lower it). Hanging upside down out the door to deploy a step...
Does your CTIS controller function?
Does the issue persist if the CTIS controller is unplugged (best to always plug/unplug the controller with ignition OFF)?
My issue with deployable steps is, if they aren't motorized how do you get them down? Do you just sit in your truck and wave frantically at other people in the parking lot and point down in hopes that they will walk over and lower your step? Do you take a passenger and have them come around...
Not true, I only have the one that came in my truck.
But Amazon has them and I've posted links in the past...

Yeah, I'd not waste the money on a Neihoff. Not that they aren't baddass alts, but at the end of the day they are simply another commercial grade HD piece of hardware. There are a number of HD 24v alts sold, just find one with the desired output/price.
Yeah, CTIS controller for LMTV. As it sits, it should work with any truck that uses the same Spicer controller as the LMTV. So if the M35's controller is interchangeable, so to would be this. Beyond that, you'd have to ask Plasa.
What makes it special is that it does everything that the...
It certainly is at he bell housing but I swear I saw this as being part of the fording procedure. Plug it for fording, normal operation open (as pictured) to breath.
But it wouldn't be the first time I remembered wrong.
Of course I can't find a thing in the TM about fording procedures now...
